Dear Friends and Community Members,

I appreciate the opportunity to serve as one of your City Council members and Mayor of our grand City of Corona.  I am running for re-election this  November and would appreciate your support.

I have served on the City Council for eight years.  Most of those years being during the Great Recession.  While very challenging, our City continued to provide residents and businesses with quality.

Our City is currently experiencing the construction of the 91 freeway which is a huge $1.3 billion project.  The added lanes will help freeway traffic keep moving and keep those passing through Corona on the freeway instead of taking the local streets.

In December, we received good news in that Corona is the 14th safest city in America by 24/7 Wall Street for cities with a population of 100,000 or more.  Just days ago, Business Leader named Corona the 13th safest city in America.  Both of these recognitions come from independent organizations.

Other good news includes our recently opened new Animal Shelter.  We also opened the new Circle City Center community center on North Main Street. New restaurants, brewpubs, and retailers have recently opened including Rock & Brews with Happy Hour Saloon soon to open at 4300 Green River Road in the Promenade Center.

Corona remains an excellent community for living and working.  I have enjoyed living and working here since 1968, and I am proud serving as one of your Council Members and ask for you vote in November.

Sincerely,
Jason Scott
Mayor
